Incorporates dtSearch Into E-Publishing Solution |

Located
in the Washington DC area, GVPi began operations
in 1988. The company’s product line includes
hosted solutions for e-publishing, both online and
on CD. The primary market for GVPi’s service
is the publishing industry, along with government,
law firms, the medical industry, and trade associations.
Recently, GVPi began integrating dtSearch developer
products into a hosting solution for a professional
publisher located in the DC area. After receipt
of the basic data set, GVPi embedded additional
metadata for additional field search capabilities.
The company then stored the content in a database
(HTML). The content changes on a frequent basis,
requiring GVPi to update its base materials and
its dtSearch indexes regularly. The hosting solution
is fully commerce-enabled. |
