“Using the dtSearch Engine, e-Review can  “instantly find any word, phrase, date, e-mail address, document type, etc.” and “conduct Boolean, fuzzy, wildcard, relational, and concept searches.”
Document Advantage's e-Review™Document Advantage specializes in electronic document management systems. Its legal application, e-Review™, provides instant and secure web-based access to litigation-related document collections. e-Review bridges the gap between electronic discovery and trial preparation, especially on large, document-intensive cases.

e-Review is designed to handle even the most extensive e-discovery data sets. Customers of e-Review span in-house Fortune 500 corporate counsels' offices to Public Defenders' offices. The application has a flexible SQL-based backend, and is fully web-based and cross-platform (Windows/Linux). The application provides secure collaborative case analysis, even across multiple remote locations. Other features include discovery review and document production.

For searching within e-Review, Document Advantage chose the dtSearch Text Retrieval Engine for Windows and the dtSearch Engine for Linux. Explains Document Advantage's Website: “e-Review includes one of the fastest, most powerful search engines in litigation.” Using the dtSearch Engine, e-Review can “instantly find any word, phrase, date, e-mail address, document type, etc.” and “conduct Boolean, fuzzy, wildcard, relational, and concept searches.”

More generally, DocuVantage also uses the dtSearch Engine to “pinpoint case-specific critical evidence using advanced searching” and “conduct relevant searches to uncover additional evidence.” For example, the dtSearch Engine-related feature set “gives the Public Defenders' office the ability to search through archived case files for relevant information about past motions filed, criminal history, or other information that may relate to a case,” says Dave Wiggins of Document Advantage.
