MHC Embeds the dtSearch Engine in Legal Resource Site for European Bar Association

“We particularly liked dtSearch's ability to process a long series of logical operators, and display original documents with highlighted hits.”

“We also relied on the dtSearch Engine's ability to restrict access to different sets of document depending on the particular classification of the end-user.”

Located in Belgium, MHC offers technical assistance and development services with a focus on global solutions.  Technical services include everything from help desk services to license management to cloud migration.  "Our developers master modern tools and environments to produce an intensively tested application that meets exacting specifications," explains MHC.

In working with the dtSearch Engine, MHC has undertaken several projects.  One such project was for a legal profession bar association.   The bar association sought to create a secure site containing a broad range of content that the bar association wanted to make instantly searchable.  The content ranged from jurisprudence to internal bar regulations to minutes of bar meetings.

"We used dtSearch to index the legal documents, and to provide free-text searches to authenticated users," says Pierre Piraux, Technical Manager of MHC.  "We particularly liked dtSearch's ability to process a long series of logical operators, and display original documents with highlighted hits.  We also relied on the dtSearch Engine's ability to restrict access to different sets of document depending on the particular classification of the end-user."
