Smith Imaging Engages dtSearch to Make Major Detroit Library's 150-Year Old Newspaper Collection Instantly Searchable

For a major library in the Detroit area, Smith Imaging Solutions turned a nearly 150 year old newspaper collection into an instantly searchable archive. Smith Imaging Soluions took their entire newspaper collection from microfiche and hard copy news print and converted it to searchable PDF. In doing so, Smith Imaging Solutions was able to maintain the original page size and aspect of the newspaper. The entire collection amounted to about 5 TB of data.
