Installation and serial numbers
To install dtSearch, execute the download file after purchasing. dtSearch generates a serial number automatically when it is installed. To see your serial number, run dtSearch and click Help > About.

dtSearch purchases include free updates for a minimum of one year.
Subscribe to dtSearch upgrade notices.
Click Help > Check for Updates... to check for new versions or to enable automatic update checking.
To transfer dtSearch to another computer, just uninstall and reinstall. To migrate indexes and option settings, see How to migrate dtSearch settings to a new computer.
